PM Co-Founder Shuchi Kothari scours Seoul Fashion Week & Wills India Fashion Week for her shortlist of the Top Looks for SS'15
1. Hemant & Nandita
We love Hemant & Nandita’s clever use of traditional ikat prints incorporated into contemporary silhouettes. This look is definitely boho chic at its best! Add that jacket to our LUST LIST…
2. Pankaj & Nidhi
Jewel prints, floral appliques, and lace-like details were all the rage at Pankaj & Nidhi’s SS15 runway show – aptly described as a “Vintage Closet”. We have a WINNER in this beautiful Victorian dress, with its soothing colors and flattering silhouette.
3. Nachiket Barve
Inspired by the Kalahari Desert and the Dinka tribe, Nachiket Barve’s SS15 collection once again wowed us with its fluid fabrics and intricate embellishments. This gorgeous gown is at the top of our DROOL LIST - pure liquid with a surprise element of wooden and shell beadwork on the bodice.
While Nohke’s entire SS15 collection was awe inspiring – this was the STANDOUT LOOK, highlighting the designer’s innovative use of sportswear fabric to create a feminine silhouette.
5. The Studio K
Just looking at this style gets us excited for spring! Cute top – check, cute printed shorts – check, uber cute trench – check! Need we say more??
