Husband and wife duo, designers Jinwoo-Choi and Yeonjoo-Koo, met at Central St. Martin's in London and began their design journey with menswear. Their brand J Koo is deeply inspired by the English style of men’s tailoring. The clothes explore the relationship between men and women’s bodies and the Fall/Winter 2014 collection embodies this balance of the sexes perfectly. This collection is rooted in the military and Morse codes of World War II weaving together 1940's silhouettes with modern digital printing techniques that utilize Lee Miller's photography, resulting in a quirky collection with the right amount of pop.
Signature look: Minimalist luxury, rich fabrics, and a marriage of street wear and sportswear.
